We're back! We took July off as the weather was glorious, and who wants to be inside watching movies & documentaries. So, with that in mind, we've got a bumper, mega-packed 'what to watch' for you this month. A really nice mix going on.

ZZ Top: That Lil’ Ol Band From Texas (2019)

          Directed by; Sam Dunn.
Featuring; Josh Homme, Billy Bob Thornton..

The great, and far from little, band from Texas. ZZ Top. A great look and examination of one of my favourite bands, who so effortlessly fused blues and rock n' roll with that Texan swagger. Still crazy to think we've lost the amazing Dusty Hill. A monument of bass playing!

Available on to watch on Netflix.

Inside Llewelyn Davis (2013)

          Directed by; The Coen Brothers.
Starring; Oscar Isaac, Carey Mulligan, John Goodman..

In the history of the canon, my two favourite Coen Brothers movies are 'O Brother, Where Art Thou?', and 'Inside Llewyn Davis'. The music, the performances, the cinematography.. they all meld together to form such a beautiful movie. It is the Coen Brothers as their recognisable best!

Starring; Alan Rickman, Malin Akerman, Rupert Grint, Ashley Greene..

A fun look at the man Hilly Kristal, without which there would be no CBGB's, the home of underground culture of the 1970's. This movie features a who's who of guests portraying many seminal figures of the time. A shout out to the late Taylor Hawkins who does a great Iggy Pop.
